Again another age-related condition that can cause Sciatica is Spinal Stenosis, which causes the spinal canal to narrow.

How I Got sciatic pain relief.

My name is Alan and I was a sciatic back pain sufferer for 17 years but when I got sciatic pain relief I just wanted to tell everybody about my joy and how its happened after finding this wonderfull solution.
I created this site to tell my story, of how I found sciatic pain relief from the back pain that I suffered with for so many years. I have not created this site to offer advice but I hope it will be an inspiration to others to look further for answers to their pain.

My Sciatic Pain Relief Story
I am 42 years old and I have always tried to maintain my fitness by playing a number of competitive sports into my early thirties and then of more recent times with walking programs and now some light gym work .
From my early twenties I had suffered extreme bouts of pain and sciatica from my low back. The pain often came on without warning, it was sudden and severe. I could be bedridden for weeks at a time and totally spaced out by pain medications and muscle relaxants before I got sciatic pain relief.
My job was mainly office work including computers and the occasional travel to various construction sites. I work for a small business so I was relied heavily upon by my boss..... SO how do you think my boss reacted when he was told that I may not be in for 3 or 4 weeks at a time? In between the severe bouts I quite often woke up with stiffness and pain in my back. This often lasted most of the day and my fellow workers used to laugh at me walking around with a lean to one side. I saw no fun in it, so it didn’t help my attitude to much.
My back pain continued to worsen; I often couldn’t sleep at night. It got so bad that I couldn’t stand up straight and I had constant tingling down my left leg and into my big toe. I was advised to bed rest and do no exercise. I felt better at first but as I started to move about again my back pain suddenly got really bad.
I saw doctors, back specialists and physios trying to find sciatic pain relief. I was prescribed heavy pain killers, anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxants. The drugs made me depressed and my back problems got worse.
I had X-rays and then an MRI and was diagnosed with a herniated disc [also known as a ruptured or slipped disc ] .The doctor prescribed even higher doses of medications to help me get sciatic pain relief .
I then saw a Neurosurgeon who told me that if I didn’t have immediate surgery I might lose the use of my Left leg and possibly I could lose control of my bladder function.
At this stage I couldn’t even walk without pain- however I made a life changing decision, I was not going to have surgery under any circumstances and I was going to find a way to take control of my own recovery and get natural sciatic pain relief. I just thought that there must be a solution available somewhere out there.
